Cesar Ornelas Law is proud to announce a successful weekend at Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce‘s Mex Tex Family Fiesta held at Midland’s newest attraction, Midland Downtown Centennial Park on June 12, 2021.
Mex-Tex Family Fiesta Tejano Showcase
The Mex-Tex Family Fiesta featured daytime Hispanic cultural entertainment, cornhole tournaments, local mascots, a children’s play area, food, arts & crafts vendors and an evening concert featuring top Tejano artists.
In 1987, the Mex-Tex Family Fiesta began as the Mex-Tex Menudo Cook-Off. The Mex-Tex Family Fiesta went back to its humble beginnings this year and featured the return of the Menudo Cook-Off competition, along with the addition of the Fajita Cook-Off Competition. Once again, the Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce contestants come out and cook their family recipes and competed for the best Menudo and Fajitas in the Permian.

With thousands in attendance, the Mex-Tex Family Fiesta was a celebration of good food, great friends and the outstanding cultural community produced by the Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
