Meet The Team

Principal Cesar Ornelas II is a first-generation college graduate and attorney from Kyle, Texas, Cesar earned his J.D. from St. Mary’s Law School and has devoted his entire career to catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases nationwide. He is a life member of both the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forums and was selected for The National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40.

Attorney JonCarlo earned his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law, where he served as Editor in Chief of The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice and participated in the Immigration and Human Rights Clinic. Before joining the firm, he advocated for unaccompanied minors with The Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights and practiced personal injury, family law, and administrative law at an Austin-based firm. He represents clients across Texas and New Mexico.

Attorney Angela graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law and previously served as a prosecutor in Bexar County, handling juvenile, protective order, and family violence cases. She tried numerous misdemeanor and felony cases before bringing her courtroom experience and passion for victims’ advocacy to Cesar Ornelas Law, where she represents motor vehicle accident and personal injury victims in Texas.

Attorney Jacob is a sixth-generation Texan from Kyle, Jacob earned his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law, where he co-founded the law school’s Personal Injury Association and served as a student criminal defense attorney. He also worked as a Research Assistant to Professor David Schlueter and interned at the firm for two years before joining full-time.

Mexican Licensed Attorney / Foreign Legal Consultant Fernando is a licensed Mexican attorney certified as a Foreign Legal Consultant by the State Bar of Texas. With 20+ years of experience, he holds degrees from Universidad Panamericana, the University of Bologna, and NYU. He speaks Spanish, English, Italian, and French, and previously worked for the United Nations and the State of Guanajuato assisting migrants from Mexico and Central America.

Attorney Jeffrey earned his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and is licensed to practice in Texas and across all four federal district courts and the Fifth Circuit. He provides both trial and appellate support, and has been part of trial teams securing verdicts and settlements totaling over $100 million. His practice covers commercial disputes, product liability, and personal injury.

Attorney James earned his J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law and serves as an attorney manager at the firm. He has extensive trial experience in personal injury, wrongful death, probate, and commercial litigation across Texas, including work as lead trial counsel for the City of San Antonio. His background representing major corporations gives him unique insight into defense tactics.

Attorney Sergio Born in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, Sergio earned his LL.M. from Washington University in St. Louis and has extensive experience in immigration law. Based in Phoenix, he leads the firm’s Immigration Division and oversees immigration operations in Mexico, having helped thousands of families with U Visas, T Visas, green cards, and citizenship. He also hosts free online citizenship classes weekly.

Attorney Stephanie is a bilingual, bicultural attorney from El Paso. She graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2016 with the Pro Bono and Public Service Award from the State Bar of Texas. She previously worked at Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid and now represents personal injury clients from the El Paso–Ciudad Juarez border region. She is a member of the El Paso Bar Association and El Paso Women’s Bar Association.

Attorney Nick graduated magna cum laude from Brown University and earned his J.D. with honors from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. A U.S. Army Reserve veteran and former Arabic linguist, he has trial experience including a $10 million wrongful death verdict and involvement in high-profile cases including the estate of Tejano singer Selena. He also helped obtain asylum for a Syrian refugee.

Of Counsel Kirk earned his J.D. from Texas Tech School of Law and has specialized in plaintiff’s personal injury and commercial litigation since 1998. He has secured some of the largest verdicts in multiple Texas counties, is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and a recipient of the Reich Chandler Outstanding Advocate Award from the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.

Of Counsel Perry earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law and has focused on litigation his entire career, representing plaintiffs against large corporations across Texas and federal courts. He is bilingual in English and Spanish, has been recognized as a Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters (2009–2014), and is a member of the Houston Bar Association and American Bar Association.

Of Counsel Craig brings 30+ years of trial experience and is board certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He earned his J.D. from the University of Houston School of Law and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the Million Dollar Advocates’ Forum. His career includes landmark jury verdicts in cases involving bar liability, refinery explosions, and transportation tragedies.

Marialex Matuty is a licensed attorney in Honduras and an accomplished Operations Manager with extensive experience supporting high-level U.S. legal operations across personal injury, workers’ compensation, and immigration law. Although her legal license is rooted in the Honduran legal system, her professional career has been built around the operational, procedural, and strategic demands of the U.S. legal industry, particularly within California and Texas jurisdictions.
