James Leech
Attorney
James Leech earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Irvine, before attending the University of Texas School of Law. He was a recipient of the Frank Owen III Memorial Scholarship. Before pursuing law, James spent time teaching fifth grade in El Paso.
James built his early legal career at the El Paso County Attorney’s Office and Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, work that grounded his practice in direct client advocacy. He is licensed to practice in Texas and New Mexico and holds first chair trial experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts. His published decisions in federal and state court cases reflect that trial record.
Today James focuses his practice on catastrophic injury cases. He brings a rare dual perspective to every case, having represented both sides of the courtroom, and applies that insight to build strong strategy for his clients.
