Cesar Ornelas Law recently filed a $10M Lawsuit against a San Antonio Daycare center after a child claimed that she was touched inappropriately by a staff member. This is a landmark case for both Cesar Ornelas Law and the city of San Antonio. Egregious actions have come to light about how our children are being treated when in the care of others.
In response to the heinousness of this case, Cesar Ornelas stated. “In my years of practicing law, this is one of the most disturbing and alarming cases I have ever encountered,” Ornelas said.

A former Prosecutor On the Case
Angela Tabares is a former criminal prosecutor for Bexar County. She will act as the lead attorney in the fight for justice against Pinnacle Kids Academy. Evidence and Investigation

Express News: Day Care faces 10M lawsuit
During a press conference with local news outlets, Cesar Ornelas spoke more on the case. He stated that “There is no greater trust and responsibility we place in our educators and institutions than protecting our children from being sexually abused.”
Cesar Ornelas continued, “We send our kids to school; so they can learn, so they can grow. Not so they can be abused and molested and taken advantage of and mistreated.”
Ornelas added, “I’ll make this promise to you as the abused girl’s father; justice will be served.”
This Case is Personal
This case is personal for every parent and community member, and especially hits home for Cesar. During the conference, he stated, “I cannot begin to imagine the kind of experience that his family is having.”
When asked about how Cesar Ornelas Law plans to move forward, Ornelas said, “I’ll make this promise to you as the abused girl’s father; justice will be served.”

How To Find Us
Our office is located off Huebner Road and only about 20 minutes away from the Bexar County Courthouse. If you are visiting from San Antonio International Airport, the drive should take you about 25 min during normal traffic conditions. If you come from the Downtown San Antonio, the best route is to take the I-10 until exit 561 and turn right on Huebner Road. You will find our building on the left after 0.4 miles.
