EL PASO, TX – A pedestrian was killed last night when they were hit by a vehicle on North Loop Drive, KTSM reports.
The victim was struck at about 9:49 p.m. while walking in the eastbound lanes of the roadway near the intersection with Lafayette Drive.
The pedestrian, whose identity is being withheld at this time, was rushed to a local hospital, where they died a short time later.
The driver involved fled the scene, leaving the bumper of their 2013 Chrysler 300 behind.
