Motorcyclist killed in collision with power pole in Clint

CLINT, TX – A man was killed on Saturday night when his motorcycle slammed in to a power pole in the Clint area, KVIA reports.

Deputies with the El Paso Sheriff’s Office say 37-year-old Minjarez Victor Abram lost control of his motorcycle at about 6:30 p.m. on North Loop Road near FM-1110.

Abram’s motorcycle veered off the roadway and slammed into the wooden utility pole, killing him instantly.

This portion of North Loop Road was closed for some time while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
