El Paso, Texas, Car Accident Statistics

Throughout 2014, there was a total of 66 deaths on the roads of El Paso County. Followed by 62 in 2015. With around 75 traffic accident deaths in 2016, El Paso was one of the worst counties for fatal accidents in the state.

There was 32 separate accidents at the intersection of Joe Battle Boulevard at Edgemere, during 2016, which makes it the most dangerous intersection in El Paso, according to ABC KVIA.

San Antonio, Texas, Car Accident Statistics

The amount of reported car crashes in the San Antonio County area has been steadily rising over recent years. In 2014, there was a total of 42,724 crashes reported. That rose to 48,294 in 2015, and 52,633 in 2016. That’s a worrying increase of around 25 percent, and in just two years. This increase isn’t in line with national or state averages.

Midland / Odessa, Texas, Car Accident Statistics

There was a total of 75 fatal car crashes in the Midland-Odessa metropolitan area during 2016 and 2017 combined. There was also a sharp increase in the number of car crashes that were reported over those two years, with 7,681 being reported in 2016, and 9,758 being reported in 2017.

Laredo, Texas, Car Accident Statistics

The Texas Department of Transportation reports that there was a total of 5,576 auto accidents in Laredo during 2018. Of these 5,576 crashes, 3,632 of them were referred to as non-injury crashes, with 12,719 involved not sustaining any injuries. There were 587 non-incapacitating injury crashes, with 838 people receiving non-incapacitating injuries. There were also 25 fatal crashes which resulted in 28 lives being lost.

Carlsbad, New Mexico, Car Accident Statistics

In 2016, there was a total of 875 car crashes reported to police in the Carlsbad area. As Carlsbad is a city with a population of around 29,000, this works out as around 3.01 car crashes per 100 residents throughout 2016.
