EL PASO, TX — A medical incident Tuesday morning blocked both shoulders on Interstate 10 near east El Paso’s Loma Terrace neighborhood, according to Diana Gomez, KFOX traffic reporter.
The event occurred on the westbound lanes at Lee Trevino Drive. It was first reported by KFOX at 8:28 a.m.
It is unclear whether a crash occurred or whether anyone was seriously hurt, but the city’s public alert system indicated a medical issue.
The left and right shoulders were blocked by emergency vehicles, causing delays back to North Zaragoza Road.
By 9:42 a.m., more than half an hour later, the scene had cleared.
